Topics covered in in-service curricula should be responsive to the FP and other health needs of the country using the curricula. As a percent, this indicator is calculated as: (Number of training institutions in a defined area that incorporate current FP priorities in their in-service curricula/Total number of training institutions that provide IST in that same defined area) x 100 Data Requirement(s): Number of training institutions that conduct ISTs; ISTs that have incorporated current FP priorities Data Source(s): Document review at ISTs Purpose: This indicator tracks how updated in-service reproductive health curricula are on current FP priorities and guidelines. Interventions that are advocating for FP instruction or updates to the FP content in ISTs can use this indicator to track the incorporation of current FP priorities in in-service curricula for health providers. Issue(s): This indicator cannot determine the quality, accuracy, or completeness of the FP content in the in-service curricula.
