This document contains "Module B: Promoting Individual Agency" of the "Provider Self-Assessment Tool to Measure Gender Competency for Family Planning Services." This is one of six modules (A–F), each of which are related to one domain of gender competency. In each module, providers respond to statements that represent knowledge, attitudes, and skills in the domain. For each statement, providers indicate if they “Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, or Strongly Disagree” with the statement. Select modules can be administered on their own, or as part of a holistic assessment.
