Impact of the Bangladesh Nongovernmental Organization Health Service Delivery ProjectDownload Document: tre-18-15-1.pdf (2 MB)Abstract: The Nongovernmental Organization Health Service Delivery Project (NHSDP) was a flagship health service delivery project in Bangladesh funded by the United States Agency for International Development. NHSDP supported the delivery of an essential service package of reproductive, maternal, and child health services through a network of local nongovernmental organization (NGO) clinics that primarily targeted the poor and underserved in rural and urban areas. The purpose of this evaluation was to monitor project outcomes and determine the impact of the NHSDP intervention on selected family planning and maternal and newborn health outcomes. The findings of this impact evaluation will inform the design and implementation of the next phase of the NGO service delivery program.Shortname: tre-18-15Author(s): Sin Curtis, Mizanur Rahman, Sharad Barkataki, Nitai ChakrabortyYear: 2019Language: EnglishFiled under: Antenatal Care, Bangladesh, Contraception, Family Planning, Maternal Health
