Enhancing Private Sector Engagement: Introducing the Private Sector Engagement Self-Assessment Monitoring Tool Register Now Join D4I on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 8:00-9:30 am EDT / 15:00-16:30 UTC+3 / 20:00-21:30 UCT+8, for a webinar introducing the new Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Self-Assessment Monitoring (SAM) Tool. Private enterprise is the single most powerful force for accelerating sustainable development, but until recently co-engaged actors lacked metrics and tools to monitor the factors underlying successful engagement. With support from the USAID Bureau for Global Health’s Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Working Group and building on work by the PSE Hub’s LASER PULSE project, D4I created the PSE-SAM Tool. The webinar will introduce the PSE-SAM tool created for USAID Missions and their private sector partners. The tool is now available for online use and includes automated analysis and results visualization. Presenters will discuss lessons learned from the pilot conducted with groups in Tanzania and the Philippines and the digitization process including user testing. Participants will learn how to access and use the PSE-SAM tool to monitor and improve their private sector engagements. Register for the webinar. Presenters: Cindi Cisek is a senior technical advisor for private sector in Palladium’s global health portfolio. She has more than 25 years of experience in private sector engagement, public-private partnerships, capacity strengthening and sustainability for social entrepreneurial models and social enterprises, multi-sectoral partnerships, and stewardship strengthening. Susan Rae Ross is the senior private sector engagement advisor in the Office of Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition in USAID’s Bureau for Global Health. She has more than 25 years of experience working with the public and private sector to improve global health outcomes. Agung Setiadha is a web-based application engineer for the Measure Program and Global Health PEARL project, experienced in system analysis and software development across various projects. Tory M. Taylor is the technical director for the USAID-funded D4I and Global Health PEARL projects. She has more than 20 years of experience supporting global MERL activities, with a focus on capacity strengthening, evaluation, and survey design.
